AutoCAD Integration
StormNET is available in either a standalone platform or AutoCAD Civil 3D version, designed to increase productivity, save time, and decrease costs. The standalone version can seamlessly share stormwater sewer and sanitary sewer design data with AutoCAD® Land Desktop and Civil 3D® platform using LandXML. Or, gain full functionality and integration within Civil 3D with StormNET Civil 3D—designed to complete transportation, site, sewer, storm drain, and subdivision projects up to 50 percent faster. Update a pipe size, invert elevation, sump elevation, or rim elevation, and have the updated change automatically reflect in the AutoCAD drawing. This sophisticated level of integration allows you to greatly increase your engineering productivity.
Construction Plan and Profile Sheets
StormNET can automatically create plan and profile drawings. This greatly speeds up the delivery of final deliverables associated with your engineering project.
Profile sheets include:
- Maximum HGL and EGL
- Maximum discharge
- Maximum flow depth
- Maximum flow velocity
- Pipe dimensions (sizes, inverts, etc.)
- Sump and rim elevations
All elements are stored on their own individual layers, allowing the user to quickly change colors, line styles, text styles, etc. You can change the default settings, such as colors and annotations, to fit your corporate CAD standards.
Automated Conversion of DWG Files
StormNET can directly load AutoCAD DWG files, including the new AutoCAD 2007-2008 DWG format. In addition, it can automatically perform a polyline-to-pipe conversion from DWG and DXF entities.
